Yie Ar Kung-Fu for SMD

Post by Shiru » Thu Jan 03, 2008 1:53 pm

Maybe not all reads DevSter forums, so I cross-post this announcement here. evgeny just released his first completed homebrew game - port of NES version of Konami's Yie Ar Kung-Fu, made in BasiEgaXorz.

Seems it also first complete game which uses music made in TFM MM and my *.tfd replayer for BEX (which I released recently, so it not included in TFM MM package yet).

I like original NES/FC version more... this one has some stuff missing and feels different.

As for TMSE for BEX, I just don't get why I'm having so much trouble with BEX !!!

err....it's a homebrew...not a professional/commercial port so you can't really compare it with the NES (or MSX) port...

rate it with this in mind ;)

Yes I know, but BASIC is a really decent language if you know iy well, and you can do anything with it... and if I'd redo a game, I'd do it as close to original as possible.
