Yes, and so far it has the most money collected. Though I did mention that he can use my donation for both (once the saturn one is bought).Chilly Willy wrote:Omp just dropped the 8-bit docs. He's still going for all the 16-bit docs, including the 32X. I think he's also collecting for the Saturn docs, but not sure on that.
I asked omp to make it clear
look at post 1 : http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread ... post548512
now you know who bid on what
Please note I will send him every dollar not used if he needs it (for the segacd manual for ex)
@chilly : no longer on the 32X ? people asked me if they have to send you or omp about 32X docs....

Evening chaps!
As per the list on Sega-16 is how (I see it) we will run with it.
I dropped out of the 8bit manuals to leave it in their (SMSPower) capable hands and Bock had already been recieving funds. Because I jumped the gun, I had already placed bids on the SMS2 and the 2 x GG manuals. I will still be donating to the 8bit manuals (if I get outbid) so still sort of got my finger in that pie. Bock asked that I let people know that the 8bit stuff will be taken care of by them.
My consoles that I have on ebay have quite a few people watching, lets hope they go as that will be quite a boost for the fund raising, around $400 (taken $40 off for ebay and paypal fee's....dirty bastards).
With so much of the word going out and the amount of forums that know about this and are confident that this information WILL BE SHARED, I am confident we should get these.
Myself I am keen for the MCD, which is the most expensive lol!

Yes it will be fun (for me) as I am the one doing the bidding on them (no I am not 1 of the 2).
I believe I may have done us a partial dis-service. By announcing to the world that there was an equal attempt to get these, there may now be some "less charitable" people out there bidding on these (hey they have the right to of course) but to keep for themselves.
I was hoping common sense would prevail.....

I sent a donation to omp for bidding on the 32X docs. I also gave him permission to spread any extra around to other docs if there's money left from bidding on the 32X docs. I figure that's better than bidding myself.KanedaFr wrote:@chilly : no longer on the 32X ? people asked me if they have to send you or omp about 32X docs....
chances are the less charitable people would have found out either way. I wouldn't have heard about it or donated if I hadn't heard about it in this thread. So, it's all good. Let's just outbid them.
Also without us all donating and rallying for these things I bet the auction value would be significantly less, so anybody but us who wins the auction is going to be drastically overpaying

So as far as it all goes, we got all the 16bit, 32X and Saturn manuals. SMSpower got all the 8bit bar 1 GG one. The first GG manual went for $258! I panic'ed and thought "Is this is what it is to become?"
